Counselling in general is complex, as we create a compassionate, trauma informed space for our clients.
Working in the eating disorder and body image space is challenging as there is risk to manage; working with families and acting as their advocate in the multi-disciplinary teams. And yes- very rewarding
Anne has completed the necessary training and supervision to be listed as a so so Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician with ANZAED ,
Supervision is an essential element of professional growth and ethical practice. Through a solution-focused lens, supervision will help you to identify strengths, foster resilience, and generate practical strategies for overcoming challenges in your ED work. Rather than dwelling on problems, a collaborative approach encourages you to discover what’s working and to build on those successes for lasting positive change.
Sessions are suitable for counsellors at ACA Level 1 to 3; at all stages of their careers, whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience. Book individual sessions or group sessions where you’ll be joining a supportive network of peers who are committed to reflective practice and ongoing professional development. Each session is facilitated by ACA Level 3 Supervisor Anne Holleley, who is skilled in solution-focused methods, ensuring a safe, respectful, and constructive environment.
Face to face supervision is in a relaxed setting, making it easy to share insights, reflect on your work, and gain fresh perspectives. Online sessions and groups are through Zoom. Spaces are limited, so we encourage you to secure your spot soon. If you’re keen to enhance your skills, boost your confidence, and cultivate new approaches to complex cases, this is the perfect opportunity.
To express your interest or learn more, please contact Anne at your earliest convenience. I look forward to supporting you on your professional journey!

It is imperative that all therapists working day by day with narratives of trauma receive clinical supervision so they can create safe boundaries and self-care strategies.
Prevent burnout and vicarious trauma by ensuring front-line staff are receiving supervision (not just line management. -
